Yoga Poise UK provides traditional yoga classes and workshops in Bristol. Kate is dedicated to helping people at all stages of life experience the delight of tranquility and balance. Classes blend the benefits of working slowly into postures and holding them, with the magic of flowing between asanas.
Traditional. Dynamic. Centred.
Kate is based in Bristol and is training with the British Wheel of Yoga, which is a rigorous programme of study and teaching practice. She believes deeply in the beauty of traditional yoga, as practised for thousands of years, and brings her love of the history and philosophy of yoga into her classes. For her, the practice of yoga has to be focused on bringing oneself into a balanced state.
What Our Clients Say
I had the pleasure of recently attending a yoga class with Kate. My previous experience is very basic and I never really felt a connection between mind and body when I had tried yoga before. With Kate it was very different. Kate moved at a pace which allowed me to focus on breath work and sync this with yoga movements resulting in an overall better outcome. Throughout the class I felt at ease and felt supported to push myself and improve my poses. At the end of the class I felt a comforting stillness and contentment where my mind and body were both relaxed and revived.
-- Sonia
Kate created a space that was encouraging and supportive. I enjoyed that there was a focus on how our bodies felt rather than an expectation on how the poses should look. Corrections were given where needed to help me get the most out of each movement. I really enjoyed the guided relaxation at the end, it set me up beautifully for the day.
